Celebrating Excellence in Tennis Coaching

The TCA Awards ceremony is held each year at Royal South Yarra Tennis Club. The awards night is an opportunity for TCA members to socialize, celebrate being part of the tennis coaching profession and reward members who have been nominated for a TCA award.

Recipients of awards receive a Framed TCA Certificate acknowledging their outstanding achievement in a given category which may include, Hall of Fame, Life members, Legends, 15, 30, and 40 years service, George Gilmour Memorial Trophy (Club Coach of the Year), Ian Occleshaw Award, Rising Star and Rookie Coach.

Awards Criteria

The TCA Award nomination process follows a thorough three-stage procedure to ensure each nominee meets the established criteria. From nominations submitted by members to due diligence checks and final voting by the TCA Board, the process concludes with the presentation of awards at the TCA Annual Awards Night.
